I am an ardent skincare and haircare enthusiast. But I was not like this a few years back. I have suffered my fair share of skin and hair issues. I have faced pimples, red rashes, acne, marks, dull skin, dandruff, hair fall and sun burning. And to treat all of that, I kept on trying different products from different brands. Some worked and some didn’t. I like to blog about my views which worked in order to help those who suffer like I did.

Today I will be talking about a brand that I thought of trying a few months back. It is Deyga Organics by Arthi Raguram. This is a company, originating from Tamilnadu and as the name suggests they promise to deliver pure, handcrafted and natural skin and hair care products that nourish, protect and enrich both our skin and hair.

I was really impressed when I went through the brand website, noticing that their products are cruelty free, recyclable and there are no added colors and preservatives. These days with all the global warming warnings going on and awareness of how we should be more inclined towards less use of plastic and using recyclable, sustainable, reusable things doing rounds, these are the qualities we need to look up in the brands we use or plan to use in daily life.

Why I chose Deyga Organics – well my answer would be that I am all in for Indian home grown brands which are 100% pure, sustainable and environment friendly sans any type of SLS, SLES, Paraben, MEA, DEA, TEA, Petrolatum, Phthalate, Ethoxylates and Silicones. I think as a consumer I have the power to bring change by giving more scope to this type of brands and I would definitely suggest all to give this a chance as it is loaded with quality at affordable range.

I have three of their products –

  1. Deyga Hair Growth Oil
  2. Deyga Aloe Vera Gel
  3. Deyga Coconut Milk Shampoo Bar

All of these products are available in a combo offer or separately too! You will get these three products in a combo offer of Rs 1299. The link to the combo offer is :-

I have had pretty thick hair. My scalp is very oily. I need to wash very frequently. With long hair came many issues. So since childhood I kept on chopping them off. But who doesn’t prefer long hair!!!  I always wanted to keep long hair. Along with that came the problems like dandruff and then excessive hair fall, sometimes due to bad water and sometimes due to weather or climate change. While hair fall is said to be an ongoing process, still to see chunks of hair on my palm on a daily basis, took away my sleep. I understood one thing after trying many solutions, that I need to focus on a repairing method which can trigger my hair growth. I have tried quite a handful of hair growth oil. One of my favourites, which showed prominent results is Deyga Hair Growth Oil.

Main Ingredients :-

Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Almond Oil, Rosemary E.Oil, Khuskhus Oil, False Daisy, Licorice, Walnut, Hibiscus, Thiripala, Fenugreek and Curry Leaves.

Colour :-

Pinkish Red

Fragrance :-

A beautiful yet mild fragrance which is a mix of Fenugreek, Curry Leaves and mildly coconut.

Price :-

Rs 600 for 100ml

Usage :-

It comes with a hair root applicator. I have always used it as it helps the oil to directly penetrate onto the scalp. I would recommend to flip the head down and massage the hair to boost blood circulation to the roots of the hair.

What I Think :-

The ingredients used in this hair oil are very vital for our hair. Coconut Oil is the magical oil which nourishes hair, treats the dandruff and hair breakage. Castor Oil helps in hair growth. Fenugreek seeds are a rich source of iron and protein and these essential nutrients help in hair growth. Hibiscus is a storehouse of benefits as it prevents hair loss, thickens hair, adds in volume, and makes the hair healthy.

Curry Leaves are rich in antioxidants and they stop hair thinning and help in thickening and growth of the hair. These are reasons enough to trust the product to work through. I have used it for more than a month and I have noticed a lot of new hair growth, my hair fall considerably reduced, in spite of my oily scalp, it reduced sweating and dandruff too. Most importantly this oil helped me gain back the lost shine and volume.

I usually massage in the oil and keep it overnight. Next day I do a deep cleansing shampoo. I always feel it softens my hair. I can see now my hair is getting its lost shine back. My hair is becoming more voluminous.  So I am really satisfied with this oil. Twice a week application and I am good to go.

My long, shiny and thick hair gave me back my confidence and love for myself back. Hair is one of the favourite parts of my body and to see it growing healthily maintaining the shine – gives me immense happiness.

With the name Aloe Vera, I start feeling good. Aloe Vera is a storehouse of multiple benefits on our skin. It contains enzymes, antioxidants, vitamin A and vitamin C. is a one stop shop to treat many skin care issues. It is best used in gel texture. I have used quite a few brands offering aloe vera gel. Presently, my most favourite one is Deyga Aloe Vera Gel.

Ingredients :-

Aloe Barbadensis(cold pressed), Aloe Vera Extract and Aloe Hydrosol.

Usage :

It is to be evenly spread the gel over the skin and leave it overnight. In case one uses it in a daytime skincare routine, one can apply and wash off in 30 minutes.

Rs 390 for 100ml

What I Think About Deyga Aloe Vera Gel :-

I think I love this product. There are many reasons –

  1. It makes my skin soft.
  2. It goes for all skin types.
  3. The Aloe Vera Gel works exceptionally better with my oily skin.
  4. It works as a moisturiser sans any greasy effect.
  5. As a matter of fact, Aloe Vera can be used on sensitive skin too.
  6. This treats sunburn, acne scars, uneven skin tone, skin redness and dry skin.
  7. It comes handy whenever I get a pimple on my skin. I usually treat the spot with some of this Aloe Vera Gel overnight. It instantly dries up the pimple within a day mostly.
  8. I mostly use this to soothe any kind of redness after sun exposure.
  9. As it works as a bacteria killer, the gel keeps the face almost clean.
  10. It gives my skin a glow and a fresh feel the moment I apply it on my face.
  11. This Aloe Vera Gel soothes my skin immediately.

So this is why I love their Aloe Vera Gel so much!!! Go ahead and try it for once to know it yourself. A little tip, after every use put it back into the refrigerator to get the best results. The best part is – it is pure, handcrafted and natural with a very mild fragrance of aloe vera.

What are Shampoo Bars?

Well Shampoo Bars are shampoo in solid form instead of liquid. It is more beneficial for oneself and for our environment.

First step is to wet the hair properly.

Second Step can be either to lather up in the palm by rubbing and then massaging on the scalp till the ends. The bar is rubbed directly from the scalp to the ends. Rinsing thoroughly is essential.

As the shampoo bar is made of pure coconut milk it gives my hair a very luxurious and soft texture. It repairs the hair. Coconut Oil on the other hand, has a plethora of benefits. It nourishes, strengthens the hair and reduces dandruff and hair fall. It also helps in controlling the frizz and split ends.

The magical blend of so many beneficial ingredients cleanses the hair properly. It makes the hair soft and shiny. The Amla and Bhringraj strengthen the hair preventing breakage, split ends and hair loss. Shikakai helps in keeping the hair silky. Overall I really liked the product. Honestly I wasn’t really hopeful about the shampoo bar. But I am pleasantly surprised after extensive use of it. It gave my hair a natural shine, it gave volume, controlled hair loss and dandruff too. Amazing isn’t it!

Most importantly being a luxurious shampoo bar, it delivered luxuriousness, nourishment and shine. Adding up to the list is the fact that this shampoo bar is handcrafted, pure and natural and it is environment friendly.
